Snow againnnnnnn!

I yelled at the night sky in a mindset mixed with joy and desperation: "Will you please do not snow again?" Some of the desperation may be an aftermath from a movie I just finished watching on Fox FX: The day after tomorrow.

If you log on the website of universities in Michigan, you probably will never notice photos featuring the 'beautiful winters'. I agree that skiing is fun, snow-fighting is great exercise, and the frozen trees look just amazing. I even made a snowman at 2 am once, with both of my hands almost frozen off. But then you got issues such as buses always fail to show up like the girl you wrongfully imagined she's falling in love with you and promised to go to movie with you on Friday evening, your beloved 200 horse power ride got stuck in the 6-inch white frozen swamp, or your toilet got clogged and the entire room smelt like hell, but you neither could open windows to expose your room to the -20C fresh air nor could get the maintenance guys come over because they probably either too lazy to go out or were busy with other severe matters. I had three friends hurt their ankles or knees directly because of snow, and I hit a tree back a while ago at around 15 mph but the car simply wouldn't stop.

I was like: Oh Fuck.

So before you come to Michigan, like a lot of British gentlemen, the conversation starter is usually: What's the temperature today? Oh it's so freaking cold!, things like this. For guys you may got a lot of opportunities to give gals rides in the harsh winter, but make sure you have the skill to keep yourself on the road. And we spend a lot of time indoors in winter which i guess it's helpful for me to put on some weight.

Let's look at the bright side, like Josh said: Hey, the cold winter kills all the insects! This is way better than Texas!

I hope this is the epilogue of this winter. Summer is right there, lots of things need to be done - and I am ready for them.

Was a unique winter anyway. Warmer than last one :)
